Derek Entrekin is a U.S. Army veteran and the founder of Edwin Marie Web Design, a Wisconsin-based studio helping small and midsize businesses build a standout presence online. He began studying web design in 2012, pairing that craft with extensive corporate sales and marketing experience to bring a well-rounded, business-first approach to every client engagement.

Derek leads the front-end of client work—sales, design, and UX/UI—guiding the majority of the buildout process himself. His approach starts with understanding a business before a single pixel is placed, resulting in websites that are both beautiful and built to convert.

Today, Derek's focus is where web design meets artificial intelligence. Beyond traditional website builds and SEO, Edwin Marie now delivers AI Implementation and Answer Engine Optimization (AEO)—positioning client businesses to be found and recommended in an AI-driven search landscape. He works hands-on with AI tooling across content production, automated marketing pipelines, and generative media, translating fast-moving technology into practical results for everyday businesses.
